The low speed 120 by 120 by 38 millimeter 115V AC cooling fan has terminal connectors and can run on 100 to 125 voltages. The fan contains long life dual ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours and can be mounted in any direction. Its housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum and blades molded of thermoplastic. Includes a 4 feet power plug cord that easily attaches to the fan and can be plugged into a standard electric outlet. Features impendence protection and is approved by CE, UL, and RoHS.
Low SpeedLow speed fans are quieter but deliver less air than high speed fans of the same size. They are more suitable in applications where maintaining quietness is the primary concern and less airflow is acceptable.

I bought this low-noise version because I was afraid the more powerful product from the same company would simply be too annoyingly noisy.At first, I simply rested the fan horizontally on top of the drive, which sat upright on the floor, blowing upwards away from the drive. This did a good job of keeping the drive cooled, but it set up a loud vibration between the fan housing and the drive case. So I built a little platform out of scrap wood for the base and 4 support columns cut from a wood dowel on which to rest the fan.
